What is KOBRA?

KOBRA is the name adopted by a small group of volunteers who meet twice a week (online!) to coordinate Kinver and Enville’s response to the Covid-19 crisis.

Our aim is to help Kinver & Enville residents get what they need, when they need it and to ensure nobody is left alone during these challenging times.

Although most of our work has been in the pickup and delivery shopping and prescriptions, thanks to a couple of incredible personal donations (but please more are always welcome), we are now in the position of being able to provide a little extra help to those in the most need.

We aren’t a food bank and can’t offer cash grants, but we can make sure that nobody in our parishes goes without food, gas, electricity or those hygiene essentials we take for granted.

Peoples’ personal circumstances change, especially now, so if you or someone you know could do with a little extra help please let us know. The decision-making process is simple, and any referrals will, of course, be treated sensitively and in the strictest confidence.
