Following consultation with the local business community, and with the financial assistance of a ‘High Street Recovery Fund’ grant from South Staffordshire District Council the Parish Council are planning to trial a local market in Kinver.

The purpose of the market is simply to try and encourage more people to visit the High Street and to provide a boost to all the local traders. The eventual choice of market stallholders is aimed to complement the existing High Street offer, not compete with it.

The market will be held on Daneford Gardens and the first of what could become a regular feature will be held on Thursday 26th August 2021. This is the Thursday immediately before the late summer bank holiday weekend. Thursday has been chosen as it is currently one of the quieter days on the High Street and there are no other local markets running on a Thursday.

The market will be open from 09.00 to 14.00

We are now open for potential stallholders to make a booking. Priority will be given to local traders and businesses in the first instance.

Stalls are free and we anticipate being able to provide trestle tables and possibly a gazebo cover for stallholders who want one.  Stalls will be a standard 3m width.

We anticipate stalls being available for set-up from 08.00, and offsite parking for vehicles will be available.

Kinver Parish Council will be arranging additional litter collection to respond to the increased footfall.

To book a stall please contact Kinver Parish Council either by filling out the form here, via email on kinverparish@btconnect.com or via 01384 873878
