Are there any Satellite dish engineers in the village?

just need the alignment checking.

Do it yerself mate, if you get a picture, it's aligned, if you don't, it ain't!

Seriously thought, there's a signal quality meter buried in one of the menus of the Skybox system, I used it when we changed the LNB.

Thanx - yea i've done all that & have a hand held meter too & all seems to be fine but i've got a bit of an ongoing issue with Panasonic & a quite expensive Freesat Plasma who's warranty is fast running out!!

they've had the set in for repair, been out a couple of times, changed the sat receiver but still no better so they're now pointing to the dish & i think i may have to bit the bullet & get it lined up correctly with a test sheet so Panasonic can't pass the buck anymore!!

it's been a cracking set & i could seriously do without replacing it
