One thing to watch out for if moving from BT to another provider is the BT Sport which is only free to customers of BT. Moving Broadband does not cancel the BT Sport, and they will sneak in £12 per month for it if not cancelled before moving the broadband.

I never had any real problems with BT as my ISP

My only experience of EE is with my mobile provision and to be fair they've always sorted things out PDQ when a problem arose.

It is nearly 8 months since I joined EE and I have had no issues. EE cold called me a few weeks ago to ask if I wanted to change my contract and sign up for 12 months for:

Broadband - running about 18mb
Any time calls
1000 minutes mobile calls
Unlimited international calls (which I use regularly)
1571

The new cost for the above is £4, a reduction of £3.50.

I visited their website, but the advertised costs do appear higher than I am actually paying.

So, I have no complaints with their customer service. Much better than BT who do not cold call to offer cheaper costs, and treat long standing customers with contempt.
