The Sheepwalks Shocker, the multi terrain 10k run that lives up to its name, is returning after a two-year Covid-enforced absence.
Joint organisers Action Heart and the Rotary Club of Kinver are well ahead with their plans to bring the event back to the rolling hills and fields of the Enville Estates, by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Peter Williams, on Sunday October 9.
Athletes from across the East and West Midlands – and further afield – have traditionally been attracted to the challenges of the event which had raised many thousands of pounds for Action Heart since the race’s inception in 2003. The charity will again benefit from profits from this year’s event, with entry fees of £16 for club affiliated runners and £18 for others. Entry forms can be found on www.actionheart.com.
Once again the Kinver Fitness Collective will be running the 2k Sheepwalks Shuffle family fun trot prior to the main event. Entry is on the day with the £5 family fees (£2.50 for individuals) going towards the group’s fitness activities in the village. Entry
