In Kinver we have the blue, green and grey bins which are for recycling, garden waste and general waste respectively, but what exactly goes in each and what happens if you put the wrong thing in the wrong bin?

Well, the first thing to understand is that the recycling plant does have sorting machines, so if you happen to put the wrong thing in the wrong bin, it’s likely to be filtered out. Also, they have pretty good filtering systems so you’re not going to bring the whole plant to a standstill if you put a milk carton in the general waste.
